Career Development Criteria Assignment Decision-making skills are a very integral part of one’s life, whether its achieving goals, fulfilling dreams, choosing a life partner, successfully completing daily task, or leading a team to compelling solutions. As a result, decision-making could be a very challenging task, as it is hard to predict an outcome of the decisions taken on a given scenario. Further, predicting various outcomes of decisions can be a tough job, but making â€Å"smart decisions† can lead to better decision-making (Rowles, Morgan, Burns, Merchant, 2013). A smart decision involves carefully studying overall scenario with a scientific approach and personal experiences (Rowles et al., 2013). Therefore, health care providers need to implement good decision making skills to provide safe and effective care to their patients. Implication of Critical Thinking and Problem Solving In order to survive the fast paced as well as patient driven environment, of the health care organizations it is very essential to implement both critical thinking and problem solving in your day-to-day tasks. Working at the Nursing home, often times we had to use logical reasoning to project and monitor the progress on patients.
